Kitchen Cabinets in Windcrest, TX (78239)
Windcrest is the close-knit NE San Antonio enclave that lights up every December, and many of its mid-century homes still wear the kitchens they were built with in the 1960s. Cabinet Bazaar helps Windcrest homeowners trade those dated layouts for solid-wood doors, fresh countertops, and a kitchen that finally fits how the house lives today.
Kitchen cabinets for Windcrest homes
Windcrest homeowners tend to stay put for decades, so a kitchen refit here isn't a flip-it-and-forget-it job, it's a room you'll actually live in. That's why people from the neighborhood come to our Bandera Rd showroom for cabinet doors and finishes you can open and run your hand across instead of a glossy catalog, a free itemized estimate that breaks out cabinets, countertops, hardware, delivery, and install so nothing sneaks up on you, and a free online 3D designer to test layouts before you spend a dollar. With five collections and 36 finishes, solid-wood doors and soft-close on our core lines, and a 3-year workmanship warranty on installs, you get a room that holds up as long as you plan to stay in Windcrest. And because we deliver within 250 miles of San Antonio, the showroom being a quick run down Loop 410 from Windcrest is just a bonus.

What works in Windcrest
Cabinets that fit Windcrest kitchens
Most Windcrest kitchens were built in the 1960s, which usually means a closed-off galley or U-shape, low soffits, and original cabinets that have done their forty-plus years of service. The fixes that pay off here are practical: clean Shaker or recessed-panel doors in warm white or soft gray to brighten rooms that the mature tree canopy keeps shady, taller upper cabinets or a stacked run to claim the dead space under those soffits, and full-extension drawers with soft-close so a cramped mid-century footprint finally works hard. Pair it with a low-maintenance quartz counter or a granite that hides everyday wear, swap dated hardware for simple brushed knobs and pulls, and a dated Windcrest kitchen reads bright and current without you having to move a single wall. For homeowners who like to do it themselves, our RTA kits ship flat-packed, with phone support.

Windcrest FAQs
Questions from Windcrest homeowners
Yes, and that's most of what we do out here. New solid-wood doors, a fresh quartz or granite counter, and updated knobs and pulls change a dated mid-century kitchen while keeping your existing footprint, so there's no moving walls. Bring measurements or photos and we'll give you a free itemized estimate. A 10x10 cabinet package starts at $1,750 (cabinets only).
Most kitchens are ready in about 1-3 weeks depending on style, finish, and quantity, and you'll get a firm timeline in writing with your quote. If you want the kitchen done before Windcrest's Christmas-lights season ramps up, start the conversation early in the fall and we'll plan delivery and install around your dates.
Either works. Our free online 3D designer lets you test layouts and finishes from your couch, then we can finalize details and you can see the doors in person at our Bandera Rd showroom, an easy drive down Loop 410 from Windcrest. We deliver up to 250 miles from San Antonio, so the planning can happen however suits you.
