Professional Cabinet Installation in San Antonio

When your new cabinets arrive, the install is what makes them look like they were always meant to be there. Cabinet Bazaar's San Antonio crews handle the whole job from tearing out the old boxes to dialing in the last soft-close hinge.

What a Cabinet Bazaar install actually covers

A lot of cabinet companies hand you a stack of boxes and wish you luck. We don't. Our San Antonio installation crews handle the full job so the finished kitchen or bath looks tight and level, not pieced together over a weekend.

Houses around here aren't perfectly square. A 1970s ranch off Bandera Rd, a newer build out toward Leon Valley, an older home closer to downtown, none of them have plumb walls or flat floors. That's where good installation earns its keep, because a cabinet run is only as straight as the person hanging it makes it.

  • Removing and hauling out your old cabinets
  • Leveling and securing the new boxes to studs, shimming for uneven floors and walls
  • Hanging and aligning doors and drawer fronts so the gaps stay even
  • Adjusting soft-close hinges and slides so everything closes quiet and flush
  • Scribing filler pieces to the wall so there are no gaps where cabinet meets drywall
  • Setting and leveling bathroom vanities
  • Installing the knobs and pulls you picked out

How it works, step by step

It starts with a free itemized estimate. We measure your space, talk through your layout, and give you a written breakdown so you can see exactly what the cabinets cost and what the install costs, line by line. No vague lump sums. If you want to play with the layout first, our free online 3D kitchen designer lets you see it before anyone picks up a tape measure.

From there, you choose your cabinets from our five collections and 30-plus finishes. Our core lines come with solid-wood doors and soft-close already built in. Once your order comes in, we schedule the install around your timeline.

On install day, the crew protects your floors, tears out the old cabinets, and sets the new boxes. We level, secure, scribe, hang, and adjust until the run is right, then install your countertops and hardware. Before we leave, we walk the whole job with you so nothing gets missed.

Timeline and the 3-year warranty

Most projects run about one to three weeks from the time your order is placed to the day it's installed, depending on the collection and finish you choose and how the schedule lines up. A straightforward galley or single-wall kitchen moves faster; a full gut with a vanity and a big island takes longer. We'll give you a realistic window up front instead of a promise we can't keep.

Every install we do carries a 3-year workmanship warranty. That covers our labor, not normal wear, so if a door drifts out of alignment or a hinge needs a tweak after we've gone, you call us and we come back. The cabinets are only half the job. How they're hung is the other half, and we stand behind ours.

Prefer to use your own installer? That works too

Not everyone needs a full-service install, and we're fine with that. Plenty of San Antonio customers buy cabinets only and have their own contractor or handyman set them, especially folks already mid-remodel with a crew on site. You get the same quality boxes, the same five collections and finishes, just the cabinets.

If you're the hands-on type, we also carry RTA (ready-to-assemble) kits for the DIY route. Either way, a 10x10 kitchen's worth of cabinets starts at $1,750, and we deliver across Texas, so the boxes can land at your jobsite whether or not our crew is the one installing them. Tell us which way you want to go and we'll quote it that way.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Yes. On a full-service install, tearing out and removing your old cabinets is part of the job. The crew protects your floors, demos the existing boxes, and clears them out before setting the new ones, so you're not left dealing with the old kitchen.

Most projects run about one to three weeks from when your order is placed to install day, depending on the collection, the finish, and the size of the job. A simple galley moves quickly; a full kitchen with an island and a vanity takes longer. We give you a realistic window during your free estimate.

It covers our installation labor. If something we installed shifts out of alignment, like a door that drifts or a soft-close hinge that needs adjusting, you call us and we come back out within those three years. It covers our work, not normal wear and tear or damage from misuse.

Absolutely. You can buy cabinets only and have your own contractor install them, or grab our RTA ready-to-assemble kits and do it yourself. A 10x10 kitchen's worth of cabinets starts at $1,750, and we deliver across Texas. Just let us know so we quote it as cabinets-only.
